Range
Extremely small range in the western panhandle of Florida. 90% of the range is within the Eglin Air Force Base.
Habitats
This frog prefers mucky environments with thick vegetation in seepage bogs and sluggish backwaters of clear, sandy-bottom streams.
Identification
A small green or greenish-brown frog reaching only 1.5-1.75 inches in length. It has mildly bumpy skin, noticeable dorsolateral skin folds, and large dark tympana. The skin around its mouth is bright yellowish green and its back may be patterned with small faint dark blotches. It has minimal webbing between the toes.
