Range

Southeastern United States. Primarily found from Florida to Texas along the Gulf of Mexico. Small population on the island of Cuba.

Habitats

Semi-aquatic. Found in brackish salt marshes & shores.

Identification

Adult length from 15 to 30 inches with varying colorations and patterns depending on region.
