Range
The Burmese python is native to Southeast Asia, but has estabished population in southern Florida in the Everglades ecosystem where it is considered hight invasive.
Identification
As adults Burmese pythons are larger than nearly all native snakes. They are typically tan in color with irregular dark brown blotches on the back. A dark wedge can be seen on top of the head.
