Range
Endemic to Dixie Valley of Churchill County in west central Nevada.
Habitats
This toad's extremely limited range consists of small, spring-fed marshlands in a hot, geothermally active isolated valley.
Identification
A small warty toad with dark irregular spots and blotches highlighted with gold flecks on an olive green background color. It has a light stripe down the center of its back. The parotid glands are typically highlighted gold. Ventrum is pale with black speckling.
