Range
Eastern United States. Found in the Appalachian Mountain range from Pennsylvania to Alabama.
Habitats
Terrestrial. Higher elevations throughout Appalachia in habitats such as ponds or rainwater pools.
Identification
Average adult length is 1.10 inches from snout to vent. Coloring occurs in shades of light brown with dorsal stripes or spots in shades of brown. Darker stripe that runs from snout, through eyes to back. Legs typically yellow.
